Water reuse

In view of advancing climate change and increasing water scarcity, the reuse of wastewater is becoming more and more attractive. Depending on the use of the treated wastewater, additional steps are necessary. For use as rinse water or for irrigation, only flocculation and precipitation of the colloids contained and, under certain circumstances, additional disinfection are necessary. For reuse as high-quality process or even drinking water, nanofiltration in combination with reverse osmosis is additionally necessary.
