Project Engineer - Construction of water treatment plants (f/m/d)

We are a medium-sized family business from Lower Saxony, which with more than 120 employees plans, builds and implements water treatment plants for a wide range of industries worldwide. All products manufactured by us bear the seal Made in Germany and stand for the highest quality, precision and reliability. Our services cover all steps from plant planning to turnkey handover to the customer on site. Our customers have trusted us for more than 50 years and range from international beverage manufacturers to municipal waterworks.

Your tasks:

As a planning and project management engineer, you will support our customers in the planning and preparation of quotations for water treatment plants. You develop the high-quality process technology for which our brand is known. Once the quotes have been approved, you will be responsible for the internal project management and will accompany the client on an ongoing basis to ensure the fulfilment of the requirements and the satisfaction of the client.

What will you do?

- design of water treatment plants and components according to specific project requirements

- create quotes, flowsheets, and plant layouts in AutoCAD

- you will manage the development, maintenance and monitoring of projects and take internal process responsibility for all technical details

Desired skills and experience:

- completed, ongoing or in preparation for studies in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry, or comparable disciplines. A university degree is an advantage, but we also consider applicants who have in-depth knowledge and skills in their field of expertise regardless of degree.

- proficiency in MS Office

- fluency in oral and written German and English; other languages would be an advantage

- independent and structured work with a high degree of self-organization

- willingness to learn and perform, ability to work in a team and good communication skills

- knowledge of beverage and food technology or water treatment is an advantage

- knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage

As a Sales Engineer, you will play a key role in connecting with customers and identifying their needs in order to provide water treatment plants that meet their criteria. You will be responsible for submitting competitive bids and leading project negotiations. In addition, you will play a continuous advisory role and support clients in all phases, including in an international environment. Your commitment is critical to customer satisfaction and the success of our brand and products.

What will you do?

- you identify customer needs, propose technological solutions based on these needs, and provide technical and commercial offers.

- you will conduct project negotiations

- advising and supporting customers before, during and after project development, also abroad

Desired skills and experience:
