Chriwa Group - Water matters. We care.

Removal of arsenic, fluoride, radon, radium, uranium

Chriwa offers a wide range of different process solutions for the removal of these substances. For this purpose, special and highly optimised inert absorption materials and filtration media are used, which are also approved for drinking water and ensure the highest treatment quality.

The substances to be removed:

Arsenic (As) - basic substance with partly metallic, partly non-metallic properties; very toxic in its various compounds.

Fluorides - salts of hydrofluoric acid (hydrofluoric acid); they are among the corrosive and harmful substances. Form an insoluble precipitate of calcium fluoride (CaF₂) when neutralised with milk of lime. Fluorine compounds can be detoxified in this way.

Radon (Rn) - A radioactive noble gas. It occurs more frequently in areas with high uranium and thorium content in the soil and contaminates groundwater.

Radium (Ra) - A radioactive alkaline earth metal. It is increasingly found in sludge dumps from ore processing and in material converting industries.

Uranium (U) - A radioactive metal that can occur naturally in rocks.
