Innovation & Development

For research and development, the group of companies maintains contacts with universities and relevant institutions to stay up to date both technically and procedurally. This ensures a lively exchange of experience in both directions. We also regularly supervise practically oriented seminar papers and diploma theses, as well as Bachelor's and Master's theses. In addition, well-known water treatment processes are further developed in-house and implemented in new areas of application.

Development of own components and assemblies for individual projects

The Chriwa Group also conducts research and development for its own devices in the electronic / metrological field and thus introduces innovations such as new components, e.g. the 

- Delta-pH measuring device for the evaluation of the lime-carbonic acid equilibrium

- CMT (Chriwa multi measuring transmitter) for the simultaneous acquisition and
transmission of several measured values with a single amplifier.

AWG in particular contributes further developments such as a chlorine electrolysis cell for on-site production of high-purity chlorine bleaching lye for swimming pool technology, but also in the food industry together with Chriwa.

In addition, well-known water treatment processes are further developed in-house and implemented in new areas of application. In this context, the use of our inert ChriwaFilt filter materials for the improved filtration reduction (without chemical dosing) of increased concentrations of e.g. arsenic, barium, fluoride, uranium, radium, etc. should be emphasised.

Last but not least, the group of companies offers our customers our own process visualisation system with extensive documentation and evaluation functions. We have our own department especially for process visualisation and our own offices for the documentation of the plants.

Furthermore, we are working on innovations for the use of renewable energies in the supply of our plants.
